Eric has worked on David Gordon Green's Prince Avalanche and Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups and Song to Song. He has directed dozens of comedy short films, including Cander Corn, starring Doug Heinz, selected as "Best Of The Web" by FunnyOrDie.com.
For Lucky Doug, Eric is melting together his improv chops with his love for and experience in filmmaking. He's brought together some of Austin's best comedians and filmmakers to create a weird and zany comedy reflecting the plight of the little man, and the absurdism of "the system".
Nathaniel has been an integral part of the Austin film & comedy scene since 2014. He's a member of the video troupe Texas Dog Show with Zach DeSutter and Mohit Jaswal. Together they made the short film Butt Fantasia, which played at Slamdance, The Chattanooga Film Festival, and Fantastic Fest in 2019. He co-wrote and co-directed his first feature film Ultimate World, hitting festivals in 2020.
Scout has lived in Austin for 3 years and has loved getting involved in the creative scene. She has costumed 5 shows at City Theatre, including the Who’s Tommy and Noises Off, and built costume pieces for Coldtowne Theatre. Last year, she starred in, co-produced and did production design for the feature film Summer Nights. She is deeply passionate about collaborating with other Austin artists, and she is beyond thrilled to be working on Lucky Doug!
Since 2014, JJ has worked in Austin as a director and editor of short films and music videos. His music video for Rey Pila's single "Alexander" was an Official Selection for the Austin Music Video Festival in 2017. That same year, he won the Other Worlds Film Festival Austin O’Bannon Filmmaker Grant, for his upcoming short Jettison.
Mohit Jaswal is the writer and director of the feature films Garbage and Night On 6th (2020). He directed the short Butt Fantasia, which played in competition at Slamdance and Fantastic Fest in 2019. He also directs wrestling promos for Inspire Pro Wrestling and member of Texas Dog Show.
A storyteller at his core— Quentin is a non-fiction writer, podcaster, comedy writer, and one half of the filmmaking duo, The Norris Brothers, with his brother Brandon.
Joe graduated with a Masters in Filmmaking from the University for the Creative Arts, UK, in 2018. His short film Development of June played in competition at Indy Shorts International Film Festival and Blow-Up International Arthouse Film Festival.

Patrick does it all. Over the years Patrick has directed, produced, edited, animated, and acted in short films, web series, podcasts, live shows, and so much more. We could not be more thrilled to have Mr. Neese aboard our shoot. He’ll be hoping around nearly all departments, and there’s no doubt will be a crucial and critical part of the production.
